After School
Ages 4-5
Here is a typical afternoon at our afterschool program:
• 2:50 PM – School Pickup
We pick up the children from school and safely bring them to our center.
• 3:10 PM-3:20 PM – Arrival & Parent Notification
Children arrive at the center. A text is sent to parents to confirm their
safe arrival.
• 3:30 – 3:50 PM – Taekwondo (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only)
On these days, children participate in a beginner-friendly Taekwondo
session led by an experienced instructor.
• 4:10 PM – Snack Time
Child brings their own snacks.
• 4:30 – 5:20 PM – Free Play & Reading
Children can choose to play with building blocks, read books, or enjoy
quiet time.
Or
Arts & Crafts
Children enjoy a creative arts and crafts activity to relax and express
themselves.
• 5:20 – 6:00 PM – Parent Pickup
Parents begin arriving to pick up their children.
Ages 6- older
Here is a typical afternoon at our afterschool program:
3:10-3:20 PM : Pick-up & Arrival Notification
• Children are picked up from school and arrive at the centre.
• Parents are notified via text message of their child’s arrival.
3:20-3:50 PM : Rest & Transition time
• Children have about 10 minutes to rest, use the restroom, and settle in.
3:50-4:20 PM: Taekwondo (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays only)
• 30 minutes of Taekwondo practice led by an instructor.
• On Mondays, and Fridays, this time may be used for quiet reading,
drawing, or educational games.
• 4:20-4:40 PM : – Snack Time
Child brings their own snacks.
4:50-6:00 PM :Homework & Schoolwork Time
• The teacher checks and helps students with homework or any assigned
school work.
Or
• Free Play & Parent Pick-Up
• Children engage in supervised free play
• Activities may include board games, crafts, or toys.
• Parents begin arriving for pick-up any time during this window.
